EXCURSION TO THE GEYSERS OF QUEUPUDE

All the effort and dedication behind this project it’s easy to see when the client arrive to Sollipulli thanks to the professional, personalized and warm welcome. The mid-mountain camp, Nevados de Sollipulli is located in the northeast base of the Sollipulli volcano at the of Cordillera de los Andes in the Melipeuco commune. Its perhaps one of the most beautiful environs of Chile with a unique mix of scenery ready to amaze the visitors. The spectacular mountain formations, glaciers, rivers, lakes and lagoons, the ancient forests of Araucaria and Coigues with a incredible variety of fauna which include foxes, pumas, pudu, boars and various native birds such as condors, woodpeckers or hummingbirds of various species are part of our natural environment. The tour consists of a soft Canyoning rise by the canyon of the Alpehue River between huge granite mountains full of forests and with strange shapes that remind us of images of Yellowstone, in the northern hemisphere. The goal is to reach Queupude Geysers, located almost near the top of its side Sollipulli West. There we will rest and relax in natural sources of thermal water enjoying a refreshing bath in natural mineral waters with an average temperature of 50 º C. At dusk we descent Alpehue by vehicle and return to camp to enjoy a rustic BBQ.
3 Days 2 Night. Includes local transportation Melipeuco - Camping - Alpehue - Campamento - Melipeuco. Food, Lodging and snacks.
The tour consists of a gentle rise Canyoning by Alpehue river canyon between granite mountains and forests full of strange shapes that remind us of images of Yellowstone, in the northern hemisphere. The goal is to reach Queupude Geysers, located almost near the top of Sollipulli west slope. At the end we relax and enjoy the natural sources of thermal water to enjoy a refreshing bath in mineral waters with an average temperature of 50 º C. In Alpehue we descent in a vehicle and return to camp at duskand yo enjoy a BBQ
