· DESCRIPTION

Providencia is the town hall of the city of Santiago, its name came out thanks to the existence of the Convent of The Sisters of Providence, located on the south side of the main road, which meant that the inhabitants call this path the "Alley of the Providence, giving rise to the name of the Commune.
Providencia delights the visitors with a wide variety of bars, pubs, restaurants and discos that are waiting for the tourists to enjoy their charms and bohemia, with live and non-live music, wines and spirits, national liquors such as pisco sour and delicious dishes, fish and seafood being the most requested one.

The Obelisk of Tajamar considered the heraldic emblem of the municipality related to the history of the river Mapocho defense. It is located in the Parque Balmaceda, in Providence Av Condell.
The Falabella Palace show to us the fifteenth century Renaissance style, stands out for its details and mosaics on the windows. It is located at Avenida Pedro de Valdivia N ° 963, between Eliodoro Yañez ST and Carlos Larrain ST.
